Inclusive Justice - Co-producing change

This guide is a practical resource which aims to support professionals and service users to work together to shape the design, development and delivery of services. In this guide, we offer our learning from our research, based on documenting the process and progress of three service user involvement groups from their inception. People told us that one of the major barriers to pursuing service user involvement was quite simply that they didn’t know where to start.

We appreciate that each group will work differently, shaped by the contexts in which they are embedded, the relational dynamics that form them, and the individuals that constitute them. It is our hope, however, that this guide will provide professionals and service users with the tools to take that first step, and from there, to work collectively and collaboratively to coproduce change and to work in the direction of a more inclusive approach to justice.
