Open government is a global movement centred around people coming together to explore how the relationship between communities and government can be more open, participatory, inclusive, and accountable.

Support by SCDC, people from across communities, the third sector organisation, and all levels of government have come together over the last year to help co-create a new four year National Action Plan to support open government in Scotland.

This event will be a chance to hear about the co-creation process and to hear more about the findings published the final report. This report, bringing together ideas and insights from online and in-person events highlights key actions, themes and learning from this extensive process, and is currently be used to develop a draft National Action Plan.
