Open government is a global movement centred around people coming together to explore how the relationship between communities and government can be more open, participatory, inclusive, and accountable.

Supported by SCDC, people from across communities, the third sector, and all levels of government have been working in partnership over the last year to co-create a new four year National Action Plan to support open government in Scotland.

This event will be a chance to hear about the co-creation process and to hear more about the findings published the final report.

The report brings together ideas and insights from online and in-person co-creative events, and highlights the key actions, themes and learning arising from this extensive process, which are currently informing the development of a draft National Action Plan.
